New name, same great pension

On July 1, 2020, Workplace Insurance and Safety Employee Trust (WISE Trust) assumed the administration of WSIB Employees’ Pension Plan (the Plan), and since then, WISE Trust has been finding new ways to connect with members.

Everything we do at WISE Trust, we do for the almost 10,000 Plan members made up of current and former workplace insurance and safety employees in Ontario.

When will I receive my annual pension statement?

Answer

Active members will receive it every year in June in the mail. Retired or deferred members receive it every two years in June in the mail. Access your latest statement on My Pension Resource anytime.

Who should I name as a beneficiary?

Answer

Your beneficiary can be one or more people or a corporation, such as a charity. You should name a beneficiary and review your designation whenever your personal circumstances change, such as having a baby or getting married. Need to make an update? Visit My Pension Resource.
